6th Project Meeting in Cape Town, South Africa

The sixth AIR project Meeting took place from 11 to 15 March 2019 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The meeting was opened by Mr Luxmore Madiye from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), who gave a presentation on ‘The Energy Situation in Zimbabwe’.

The main focus of the meeting was the finalisation of the AIR Bachelor’s programme in Renewable Energy Technology Systems (RET) as well as the development of the international Master’s programme in RET.

In addition to the internal working sessions, the project team visited the local Company ‘GreenCape’ to foster the cooperation between academia and industry further.
