AIR International Student Exchange Programme
The AIR project offers an international student exchange programme for Master and PhD students from AIR partner universities. Students are offered the opportunity to undertake a 10-14 day exchange visit to partner institutions.
In the frame of this programme, African and German students may participate in a student exchange to any of the AIR partner universities, namely the University of Zambia (UNZA), Botswana International University of Science & Technology (BIUST), Nelson Mandela University (NMU) and Stellenbosch University (SU) in South Africa, Universidade Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) in Mozambique, University of Malawi (UNIMA), University of Zimbabwe (UZ) and Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) in Germany.
Visiting exchange students will be involved in the work of faculties and institutes abroad that deal with topics in the area of renewable energy, participate in dedicated courses including and give lectures to students. This allows them to gain vital insights into the processes and contents of studying and teaching abroad and to put the lessons learnt and experiences in their home countries into practice.
Timing allowing, students may participate at the AIR project Meeting, which takes place twice a year in order discuss the lessons learnt and provide Feedback to the group. This helps to facilitate the student’s mobility in the future and support the AIR project in meeting the targets.
